A new study by UCLA Berkley has released findings that explain the unusually high percentage of Xbox360 consoles being turned in defective. Professor Oscar Flores who chairs the department of Psychology at UCLA submitted the findings of a test where, after subjects believe to be left alone with their consoles, attempt to sexually assault them. “We were curious how Microsoft’s consoles were isolated from the other leading manufacturers, so we implemented them as controls.” Flores began over coffee at our offices “It turns out the Blu-Ray laser leaves an unmistakable scar on the skin and consumers would rather buy another PS3 out of shame rather than submit it to be laughed at by the Japanese. The 360 leaves no such mark.”
That is, until now. The newest re-design of the 360 is certainly gorgeous, and if console-rape related malfunctions were serious before, god knows the financial hit Microsoft could endure from a simple re-design. “We had discussed sacrificing visual appeal in earlier meetings…” Taylor Kinsey begins at his design studio “Filters x3” in Austin. “…however we quickly realized the only way to protect our consoles was to have it severely lacerate anything our consumers stick into the Disk Drive.”

When asked how he planned to keep the defense mechanism from damaging the disks, Kinsey added that “we found that the rape only occurred when the console was being lifted up off the floor – so if you leave your 360 alone and never touch it, your content should be fine.”
Keep your fingers crossed! The new design is making its way through the final stretch of the FCC.

Yup, that's right: the Fraggot Clan, which gave birth to Fraggot Gaming, was founded on the 28th of April 2006.
Four years later, here we are: bigger, stronger.
To commemorate this date the Community Staff team prepaired something reeeeeeeealy special! Stay tuned to the forums & Front Page for details ;)

Well, this is rather weird to write. It's mere days before the 4th b-day of the Fraggots and here I am writing this letter of 'resignation.'
It's something that has been on my mind for awhile now. And with the current events going on in RL, I felt like the time was right.
I won't get too 'woe is me' on you, but in February I was diagnosed with late onset, Type 1 diabetes. This along w/ a change in work schedule and other personal bits just kind of tipped the scale.
Fraggot Gaming is now in the capable hands of Atzecs, who is assembling many members to help out.
I want to thanks to everyone that has been around and contributed to this wonderful community, in any way.
I'll still be around playing various games, and in a ghostly form on the forums. So this isn't exactly "bye."
Just, See ya around.

Hey all,
Sorry for the delay on the vote for the BF:BC2 server. I've run into a few RL hitches. I promise to have the Poll up no later than Friday evening. I'll even have something extra thrown in for the runner-up.
Thanks for your patience!

I can't really believe this is our first post (in a really long time) about Battlefield: Bad Company 2. It surely won't be our last.
Yesterday DiCE and EA released a video walkthrough of some of the features specific to the the PC version. Some of them include: unlocked frame rates, customizable FOV (within a range), and some DX11 graphic enhancements. View the video below for more details.
The game releases March 2nd in North America. March 4th in Europe.

Curses! The match has been postponed to the 13'th at the same time, 8:00pm EST.
There was a quick and unofficial match yesterday with some curious outsiders joining in for the fun. We hope to see more there in the weekend after the superbowl.
Check the forum for details (under "Insert Coin") or the post bellow for Game Info.
On a related note, I found a killer recipe for chicken wings. Seriously - these kick ass.
